Students must apply to be admitted into the Environmental Studies with GIS Emphasis BA, GIS Certificate (Undergraduate and Graduate) and Minor programs.

Admission to these programs is competitive and space may be limited.

Environmental Studies with a GIS Emphasis, BA

Undergraduate & Graduate GIS Certificate

Applications to both the undergraduate and graduate certificate are accepted once per year on May 1. All courses must be completed with a grade of B- or better.

Undergraduates must complete or be currently enrolled in ENVS 320 or equivalent class at time of application.

Graduates must have completed their BA or BS degree, making them eligible apply to the graduate-level certificate.

GIS Minor

Applications to the GIS minor are accepted once a quarter on November 1st, February 1st, and May 1st. All courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better.
