WWU's Sustainability Engagement Institute

This presentation will introduce Western’s new Sustainability Engagement Institute and share opportunities for connecting. The institute will comprehensively focus Western’s sustainability and climate engagement efforts in three essential functions of education, co-curricular activities, and operations. The institute’s mission is to develop educational opportunities and systems-change for a more sustainable, just future. We engage in initiatives that create economic vitality, promote well-being, protect the environment, and uphold social justice. These actions will progress the goals of the WWU’s Sustainability Action Plan.
