Graduation Celebration 2023

Each year, the College of the Environment holds a graduation celebration where graduating seniors and master’s candidates gather for one last chance to participate in the CENV community as a student. Graduates mingle with fellow students, faculty, and staff and receive a cedar tree seedling to plant and grow into the future. Refreshments will be served. Don’t miss it!

This year’s celebration will occur Friday, June 9, from 2-4 p.m. on the Communications Lawn (or inside Academic West in case of rain). There will be a group photo at 2:30 p.m. sharp!

Eligibility

You can participate in this celebration if you graduated or have applied to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree anytime from Fall 2022 to Summer 2023.

This celebration is NOT the Same as Western’s Graduation

The annual CENV graduation celebration is unrelated to Western’s official Spring Commencement on Saturday, June 10. Students eligible to participate in Western’s commencement will receive official notification from the WWU Registrar.

NOTICE:

Photos and/or videos will be taken at this event for use in WWU and College of the Environment marketing, communications, and social media. Participation is optional, please tell photographer if you do not wish to be included.
