I am doing a research project on bumblebee populations on WWU's campus, and I sighted a Western bumblebee! The Western bumblebee is listed as a vulnerable species, and is rarely seen in many parts of Washington. We should be proud that WWU provides habitat to this bumblebee, and hopefully I'll find more!
