Group Layers
Data layers in an ArcGIS Pro Map can be grouped. Once grouped, they can be turned on or off as a group.
- In the Map Contents choose multiple data layers by holding the Shift key
- With multiple layers selected, right-click on one of the selected layers and choose Group
- The data layers should be combined into a single grouped layer
- Optionally right-click on the New Group Layer to choose Properties
- In the Layer Properties, choose the General section to change the Name
- Turning a group layer off will turn off all of the layers in the group
- Group layers can be expanded or compacted
- When expanded, the individual layers can still be turned on or off and their symbology can be modified as usual
