About

I'm excited to be back on campus again after serving as an Assistant Attorney General representing Western Washington University, Bellingham Technical College, and Educational Service District #189 for the past couple of years. I have been practicing law since 2008, where I have focused my practice on land use, environmental, education, and municipal matters.

I am currently a legal consultant with the Municipal Research Services Center (MRSC), where I assist local government officials and staff on unique legal inquiries and provide trainings on open government, land use matters, public records, contracts, personnel matters, etc.

I previously served as a Civil Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Skagit County advising the Planning Department. At the beginning of my career, I was in private practice at various law firms in Seattle.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, I was an environmental consultant for the Port of Seattle.
