Event Description
Do you eat food? Would you like to learn how to turn your trash into treasure!?
“Composting 101: The Ecological Art of Decay” is a free, three-part workshop series where you can learn how composting works, how you can start turning your own food waste into a valuable resource, and more!
Composting 101 is open to anyone and is free to participate. You can even borrow a food waste bucket to collect your food scraps. While it is a three-part workshop series, you are not required to attend all three dates, but you’ll learn about different aspects of composting each week that will build on and enhance your knowledge.
This workshop will take place over three biweekly Saturdays - April 12, April 26, and May 10 - from 3 - 4 p.m. at The Outback Farm (South campus between Fairhaven College and Buchanan Towers). Please register by March 21 if you need a bucket!
