Event Description

Please join us on Wednesday, April 8, from 11:30am-3:00pm PT for the 2026 Virtual Environmental Career & Networking Fair, hosted virtually in Handshake! This fair is open to all students and alumni from participating schools in the region. Employers at the fair are interested in connecting with students pursuing environmental careers in a wide variety of disciplines.

Never attended a virtual fair before?

Upon registering, employers are prompted to enter in a schedule of Group and/or 1:1 Sessions.

  • Group Sessions are 30 minutes long and open to up to 100 students/alumni at once, and they are best used for sharing broad information about company, culture, and open career opportunities. More than one employer representative could be present.
  • 1:1 Sessions are 15 minutes long, and provide one representative with an opportunity to meet with qualified students who are interested in learning more about open roles and their candidacy. These can be treated as screening interviews.

You might envision the actual Virtual Fair Day experience as a series of virtual meetings (as opposed to the ballroom experience you might envision in relation to in-person career fair events).

Need a resume? Employers will want to look at your resume, either at the fair or shortly after. To get started, check out resume resources from the University of Washington.

Not sure how to prepare? The fair is open to all students and majors. Employers represent all types of industries, as well as all types of job and internship opportunities. Check out these help articles from the University of Washington for more information: fair experience and find more career fair resources.

The fair organizers are committed to providing access and accommodation in its services, programs, and activities. To make a request connected to a disability or health condition, contact us at least ten days in advance, by the end of the day on Monday, March 30. Your timely response will enable us to provide the necessary support
